The Amos

In 2017, I (Lucas) was diagnosed with Usher syndrome type 2A. Since then, I’ve been learning to live with the reality of gradually losing my sight and hearing. This journey isn’t always easy, but together with my girlfriend Hannah, we focus on what we CAN do: enjoying life, building memories, exploring nature, and sharing memories with family and friends.

With ‘Nederland wandelt voor Usher’ we want to turn challenges into positive action. Walking together means moving forward with courage, hope, and love. By raising awareness and supporting research, we hope to help create a future full of possibilities for people with Usher!
